New Scene Loading
We’re using a new scene loading technique whereby as soon as the pre-game lobby starts the game will switch to a lightweight online scene. From here we load the actual environment scene asynchronous and additive. This allows us to sync our loading progress over the network to show others and prevent the game from locking up due to scene loading.

Our first android was build was a success and allows us to have cross-play between any device!
Taking temperatures down a little is our fourth track. The basic setting can be seen above in what marks the most elevated of all the tracks so far. While the image is void of any assets, the setting is clearly there – players will race up the slopes on the right before zig-zagging their way back down to cross the line first. The terrain still needs a lot of work to ensure the setting feels right, while further assets such as a wooden hut and ski lift will help to enhance the level further. The surface will of course have no bearing on the vehicles in use, however the snowy weather and somewhat foggy atmosphere should ensure things are not too easy for the players!
High Poly Models & detail
As of this week High Poly models have been introduced, edges are now smooth and there is also detal added to the models (wiring, connectors, armor plates etc).
