We finally have our first play store page up and running.
Crashing / Respawning
This week we’ve finalised the crashing mechanic and respawning mechanic. When the player health gets low they first start smoking, and if they receive more damage the plane will catch on fire before finally crashing and exploding. After this they’ll respawn in a few seconds at their last position.
City Map Update
The city map has undergone some changes since last time with models being rearranged and resized, while coliders have been refined. There is still some way to go with the level with extra obstacles such as parked trucks and construction works obstructing players, while colouring an texturing is yet to place. In the mean time, here is a sped up play through of how the map looks so far.
Game UI
We have implemented a new user interface, we made it lively and simple. but very clear so that the user knows how to easily access everything. We added a live background, the same moving sky as you see in game. This makes the whole game look a lot more cohesive.
